I have a digital piano which i left switched on for a few hours. i went upstairs and forgot about it (and there was no one else in the house) and it started to play by itself - not a tune, but random notes continuously. is there some explanation for this is or is there a ghost in my house! the only functions on the piano are on/off/volume. what's going on?

Many people who want to learn to play the piano are put off by the idea of spending long, boring hours learning music notes. If you are serious about learning to play the piano, the first thing you will need to do is put those negative thoughts behind and start with an open mind. Read here https://tinyurl.im/aHKJ0 It does take time and yes, you have to learn the music notes, but it does not have to be boring, and it certainly does not have to take forever before you learn to play on your own. Follow these seven steps carefully, and you’ll be playing your first songs independently in a very short time.

It is possible for piano's to do that. They had one at a store on display that played both by itself or a person was able to play. It's common. It maybe a feature on your instrument that you weren't aware of that you accidently hit without realizing.Brush up on the manuel to see if this is a feature. If so then thats that culprit not Casper.

check the manual

1. someone is screwing with your head

2. there is a short in your keyboard

3. it's programmed to do this after a long time of non-use to let you know it's been left on so you can turn it off..

It was a ghost. It will kill you tonight at 12. Mwahahahahahahahahaha!

Or maybe it was just an electrical problem, but I'm really pulling for the ghost, lol.

Mine did that, too, but there was water dripping on it from my ceiling, so it got a glitch. Maybe the same thing happened? hehe.
