converting WMA to MP3?

Question

How can i convert my music albums (WMA format) into MP3's for my iTunes/ iPod?

i need to know how to Import my music files (WMA. Format) for conversion to MP3 (My iTunes wants MP3) without downloading flip4mac WMV Pro. any help?

i've tried Switch but when i choose the folders i want converting it asks me to download flip4mac because they are windows media files, however the free version doesn't allow you to make the changes, you have to upgrade which costs $29.. which i cant and don't really want to spend.

many others that i have downloaded require an upgrade that cost money to enable me to convert the full version of my song lots cut off at 3-5 minutes or half the music time.

is their anything available for free that converts the whole track?

If you need to convert WMA to mp3, than I suggest you also take a look at Tunebite since it works as well as a wma converter. I for one pretty much use it quite often to convert wma to mp3 for cell phone so that I can listen to music on the go. Hello Jenny,

I have tried Power2Go from Cyber-Link,Sony Sound Forge Pro,DivX Converter,the first two programs I bought.DivX offered me a trial of 15 days and seem to be able to do this ask for their

15 days trial.Sony is more for sound editing and quite complicated to use.

Audacity at http://audacity.sourceforge.net/ will do it one track at a time. Follow the instructions to install the LAME MP3 add-in then you're off!
