Question:
On my iPod: How can I make it so that when I play a song, it DOES NOT play the next song afterwards?

Usually when I click play on my iPod, it will play the song, then play the next song and keep going. I DON'T want that to happen. I want it so that when I click a song, then click "Play" it will just play that song then stop playing.

Any suggestions?

(If this is not possible, I will just end up making a separate playlist for each song that I need, about 10, so that it will stop when the 'playlist' is done)

I don't know what kind of iPod you have, but there are two options:

1. In your settings where you can select to shuffle none, songs, or albums, look for "REPEAT" It should allow you to choose either "None" "One" or "All" Select "One" and it should play the same song over and over until you go back and choose a different song

2. Create a new playlist whether it's OnTheGo or whatever. Select that one song to be in your playlist and don't put any other songs in there. That's it

I have a classic iPod nano, and I do things like this all the time. If you have an iPod touch, idk if you can still do all this; I've never really had the opportunity to play around with one

You could just change the name of the album for the songs you need. Then click on the album and it will only have the song you want. Just click play and when it finishes the album will have finished so the song will stop. This or the playlist idea are the only two that will work.

There's no way you can stop playing music after playing a song. Unless you have the repeat off and it is the last song in a Playlist or Album. You can play just ONE song over and over by selecting the repeat (two arrows forming a circle button) twice and it should be blue with a little 1 over it. That means it will repeat that one song over and over.

under settings there is an option for repeat switch that to one and it will only play that one song you clicked on
