I went to the library and borrowed an audiobook then burned it to my itunes library. Itunes automatically puts this in my music library and not the audiobooks playlist. I don't like this because when I have my ipod on music shuffle I'll be listening to tunes then suddenly I get Chapter 26 blah blah blah. How can I fix that. Also it seems to play the chapters in the wrong order although they are numbered correctly?
I am not sure what kind of ipod it is but it's pretty new, kinda square shaped, plays video and it's silver.

When you copy and convert to mp3 format through iTunes, your audiobook becomes just more music. You have to make another playlist for it and it will play perfectly if the track nos. are in the correct order. I listen to a lot of audiobooks on an iPod. I usually rename each disk when I import it for simplicities sake (i.e.: "The Kite Runner disk1of12"). Then I put all the disks into a new play list.

iPods are great for listening to audiobooks, but you can't do it in shuffle mode.

properly i in my view do no longer see why you would be wanting to, yet that may no longer the question, is it? I used to have an iPod, and that i undergo in suggestions there being a unfastened application you may get that converts text textile documents into smaller bits which you would be able to study on an iPod making use of the notes function. Google it or some thing.
