OK so recently i got a 4th gen ipod touch and being the terrible person i am i decided to jailbreak it. so, whilst in the process of jailbreaking, i came to the stage where it said "waiting to reboot." The ipod rebooted, but redsn0w froze, so i hit cancel and tried again. That didn't work either. So i then download iOS 5.0.1 and manually redirected redsn0w (via extras) at that. the jailbreak then seemed to work fine, it had the pineapple dude running on the beach, informed me it was shuffling around things inside my ipods memory etc, and then it finished. so, after wards, i went to turn my ipod on and enjoy my glorious victory over the consumerist giant that is apple, but what i got instead was the exact same problem as before, my ipod was fine and everything was good until the terrible "waiting for reboot" screen showed up. my ipod still turned on, with cydia installed, so i wasn't too worried, until i tried to open cydia. When i tried to open the glorious gateway to free apps abroad that is known as cydia it simply flashed a black screen at me then proceeded to shrink in the same fashion a regular app would if you hit the home button. so i am in a rather annoying situation. anyone else had this problem, or better yet, does anyone know how to fix this problem? thanks guys.
