Converting a youtube video to MP3?

Question

Is there any way to convert just the sound from a youtube video onto a mp3? that you could like put on a cd? Thanks in advance!

And if you needed to know, I use Windows Media Player.

yeah you can use vixy.com just get the url from youtube of the song and paste in the box on vixy.com and click the arrow to have mp3 audio only hope this helps

You may try this youtube tool, it can help you download and convert youtube video to mp3 audio, then you can use windows media player to burn the mp3 to cd.

There's no software to download - all you have to download is the mp3 file. However, unless you have no other alternative, I wouldn't download music from YouTube, since audio files are really compressed and will sound crappy on your iPod. But whatever. :-)
