Question:
How do I burn a CD containing songs from iTunes that will play in a normal CD player?

I don't think the CD player plays MP3's. It's just a 5 disc changer. I'm not sure how old it is though.

Within iTunes, go into the preferences and then to "Burn Settings" or something to that effect. It will give you the option of burning an MP3 CD or a standard CD. Set it to standard if you don't have a CD player capable of playing MP3 CDs.

I'm running a mac, so your process may vary slightly, but the basic idea is the same. There is a setting to change this.

Use the Burn feature in ITunes. It will ask you if you want to burn an MP3 CD or audio CD (WAV format)

When you select a playlist and click "burn a disc" at the bottom, they should burn as playable songs, not mp3 files.
