I need to improve the audio output from my computer as it is using some small (plastic) powered speakers at the moment. I have an old amp and plenty of old speakers so I thought it might be fun to utilise these instead of buying new.

Certainly not phono! Any of the others will do, see which sounds best.

use aux , cd tunner or tape these three inputs are ok for (-10db) compatible to your PC output .

Phono input is (- 40db) too sensitive for audio output from your PC

any of them except phono. aux is the logical one really.
