The Music App on my Ipod Touch is missing. I don't know how that happened. I've searched and tried all the instructions found on other sites like Settings/Restrictions/Enable/Disable and Reset All Settings and Reset Home Screen Layout, to no avail. My music isn't missing just the app because when I go to the search format and start to spell music, it comes right up and I can choose it.

Ipod Touch 3rd generation 8GB on 3.1.2 software...Jailbroken.

Here's a link of a screen shot of how I can get to it without the app. http://yfrog.com/86imagerkj

How do I get it back so that its in my home screen?

All sorts of strange things can happen when you hack your OS. The native apps can't be deleted so good luck finding anyone who knows how to get them back.

you could't delete the AppStore, it is only no longer an option. each and all of the apps that incorporate the iPod can't be deleted, they have not got that option. in case you slide over to the left, and kind 'App' into the hunt bar the AppStore will arise :)

you should be able to put it back by plugging the ipod in, going to apps on ipod and dragging it on there or something. also make sure your restrictions on your ipod arent blocking it.
