how do i download limewire without it taking forever?

limewire begins to download than stops and freezes and doesnt go any further.

Is it just the limewire download? Do other downloads take a long time too?



If it is just limewire, it could be a problem with the Internet connection between you and them. Even if your ISP is perfect and their ISP is also great, any link in between can cause problems. You can determine this by using the tracert utility in windows or traceroute in Mac OS X. However, most people feel uncomfortable using those types of tools.



As I recall, limewire is available on download.com which has several mirrors. That may work for you. You could also download it at a friends house, etc.





you may have problem with pc not limewire because mine took a matter of a minute or a bit.



if not sure next time downloading save onto a cd or to a mem stick, will be faster. then install from there if pc still has problem you know it is pc with issues. good luck

I unquestionably have LimeWire professional and it makes no distinction...in case you get carry of from T1 or T3 it rather is speedier then a modem get carry of...there not all a similar. Plus the numbers on the left make a distinction too...the better the kind the greater suitable the prospect you could have for the get carry of. professional makes no distinction.

Download ''java'' and install it in your computer, it is a software that helps limewire to run smothly, you can find it in google by typing ''download java''

I'm sure you have at least a DSL connection, so, it's probably a PC problem. Try defragging your PC to help make it run a little faster. You may also wish to delete files or programs that you no longer use or need. Good luck to you.

it's easier just getting THE BEST ALBUM RELEASES every week. you don't have to download anything and they all come in mp3 format!!! Plus it's only £4
