I have an Ipod nano 4gb 2nd gen and the light doesn't turn on no matter what I do.?

I have the 3rd generation Ipod nano so I'm not sure if this will work for yours. With my Ipod, I just go to settings, then backlight and choose how long you want the light to stay on. Hope this helps!

have you tried restartign it i have a 2nd gen nano 4gb and it stuffed up so many times just reastart it.

to restart it hold the centre button and the play button.
