I'm thinking I want to play synthesizer but I'm kind of lost as what kind to get.I'm a beginner.I want to be able to play normal piano with it.Maybe to connect it to a PC(that isn't really a big deal right).I want to be able to play music like this:

I'm not sure if it takes years of hard work to play like that or just synthesizer that does that.
Thanks

If you want really good results, get a MIDI controller for you computer and a program like Reason, or any other MIDI sequencing software. If you want a standalone setup, the Roland JUNO D has pretty good synth and piano patches. Much better than all the stuff at normal stores anyway. Just go to a Guitar Center or Sam Ash and start messing around.

Don't get a synth - get a moog! Everything sounds better with a moog.
