My MP3 compilations were done on a PC using the Windows folders. But when I transfer them to my Nokia 5230 phone, it discards the folder (which is the playlist I want) and puts the songs into its own folders based on artist, album, title etc. The only way I can think of getting them back into the original sequence is to modify the Genre category (left blank), so all the songs in the playlist have the same genre (which I'll have to give some new name), and then play all the songs in that category. But I don't want to rip the songs into MP3s again ; I want to modify just the categories from a Windows display, if there's a program that will do it.

have u tried editting that info within ur phone? Go to the songs in ur music player, options, song details, and see if u can edit them yourself? I have had 3 nokia smartphones, 2 of them have allowed me to edit each songs info.

Other than that, have u tried just creating ur own playlists and then rearranging the songs in order? Thats what i did in that one nokia that wouldnt let me edit the song details.

If you want to create music and you are looking for the best software I reccomend to buy dr Drum. I found a discounted offer for 39 dollars, while the normal price is more or less 400 I found this offer here: http://www.goobypls.com/r/rd.asp?gid=542

Dr. Drum is a program with a well designed and intuitive layout. This means you won?t get bogged down with all the technical jargon and confusing buttons and tools. While some believe that when you sacrifice technical difficulty you sacrifice quality, but with Dr. Drum you get the best of both worlds. Almost immediately from the time you download Dr. Drum you can get right down to business letting your musical genius shine. The wealth of tones you have to work with at the beginning is almost mind boggling. You could sit and play for hours and still not even come close to exhausting the possibilities. Add to that the capability to upload your own sounds and you have unlimited creative potential at your fingertips.

You can do it in two means 1.Proper-click on the file, click on on residences and click on on the "details" tab. There which you could change the understanding. And 2.That you would be able to play the song with media participant and do to edit playlist right click on the tune and click on improve tag editor . From that list that you could exchange all of information. Like picture , artiest etc.
