I need to transfer song from my iPod to my PC?

Question

None of these songs are iTunes purchases. I cant transfer through iTunes the method through the hidden files on my computer does not work and all the "transfer programs" (duch as tansee) cost money. Ive already payed for all the CDs and the iPod i dont understand why this cant just work? Any help on how to do this without BUYING some extra software

If you payed for the CD's you should have them around and be able to simply rip them again.



If you are running Ubuntu as an operating system on your PC, it will allow you to copy the songs off.

Uhm i had a similar problem one time but im not sure if thisll work for you but its worth a try: On the left side of the screen where it shows the playlists the itunes store and the ipod tabs and everything, right click the ipod and a list will come down and choose "transfer purchases" this doesnt delete anything off your ipod just transfers songs and apps to itunes. Try it, worth a shot

If you've jailbroken your ipod, get OpenSSH in cydia and download "WinSCP" on your computer. That way you can easily transfer files from ipod to computer and vice versa wirelessly. Its really easy and efficient, just need a wifi. Trust me, yea i agree all those transfer programs like tansee and what not don't work really..until i tried this method and its sweet(= Just look up youtube there are tutorials on how to SSH with winSCP. That's if u have jailbroke.

if u want to move ur music from ur ipod TO ur pc then ur out of luck. the only way u can do this is hacking into ur ipod which u can look up. they dont want u to do this to get free music or the transfering of music from pc to pc
