Hi,
I just got my new ipod touch 2g 8gb today. i installed a few free apps through the app store and they worked perfectly fine.
after a few hours i wanted to put some new music on it and i connected it to itunes (i'm on win xp) and sync'd.
i disconnected the ipod when itunes told me to, but no app i've installed seems to work now. the original ipod apps (safari, notes, clock etc) work just fine, but when i click on something like facebook, the facebook page opens up, but before it's loaded, it crashes to the main menu. same with any other app - i can see the main screen for a sec or two and then it crashes.

my ipod is not jailbroken, just a few hours old and i haven't done anything weird with it apart from installing a few free apps from the app store directly on the ipod.
so what's wrong? do i need to restore already? it's ridiculous i'm already having problems and it hasn't even got 24 hours yet.

When you add Apps , it's a good idea to reboot the ipod. Hold the home and Off button until it reboots.
