How do I transfer apps on my iphone to my ipod touch?

I currently have an iphone with several apps. I would like to transfer some of these apps to my ipod touch for backup and other purposes.

How can this be done?

I am currently using a macbook pro

connect you iphone to your computer, install itunes if already not installed. then, login and tranfer your purchases. then, plug in your itouch and sync it with your apps/music on that was on your iphone.



*note: if the music that is currently on your itouch is not on that itunes, then it will erase your music, but if all your music is already on that computer, then you are fine

it's weird how itunes can't do it, no? use a third party software, i suggest imtoo iphone transfer http://www.imtoo.com/iphone-transfer-mac.html it can transfer from iphone TO computer (plus it also works with ipod). i personally use it, pretty have with the results, backing up, copying and stuff. i highly recommend it, hope it works for you too! good luck! :)
