IPOD Shuffle will not let me change order of songs, only plays them alphabetical, how do i change this?

Tried moving songs by click hold and dragging, but IPOD software puts it back to alphabetical order by singer.

That is what an iPod shuffle does. If you want to hear them out of order, put it on shuffle mode.

well since the shuffle dosent have a screen you cant see what song you want so it just go in abc order

there should be a switch on your shuffle that changes it between the alphabetical and shuffle setting.

Well actually.

I don't have a shuffle.

But I am pretty sure that your are supposed to change it from itunes.

It recognizes that it's a shuffle and you can change it from there.

That's how you got it to go alphabetical

when in fact it should, shuffle.

u have to go onto ur playlist and change the order of your songs. so go to itunes go to your music then put the songs in the order you want them to be in. hope i helped. thx 4 listening
