Check out the Sandisk Sansa. I have the e270 version (6gb, expandable memory slot, fm radio, video, photo, voice recoder).

I also bought my sister and girlfriend the c250 (2gb, expandable memory slot, fm radio, photo, voice recorder) for about $75. Actually my sister got her boyfriend one too.

Both of these players are great. From what I read there were a few small bugs when these players first came out that were fixed by firmware upgrades. I upgraded these players as soon as I got them (they have an easy to use auto detecting updater) and haven't had a problem. They also get really good reviews.

CD gamers i'm no longer waiting for an ipod or mp3 participant yet... perchance whilst i'm 40 in the event that they do no longer seem to be previous by using then (i'm 29). I incredibly have had my digital camera for 3 years and there continues to be probably a collection of stuff i do no longer understand a thank you to do with it yet. Texting, making telephone calls, and taking photos is particularly plenty all i will do with my cell telephone. i do no longer want to bypass by all the hassle of downloading songs just to hearken to them each time everywhere with out the skipping or scratching.

buy a ritmix. it works as a flash card/mp3 player it has way more features than the ipod. it is small. and u can even watch videos on it. also the ritmix is only 200 $ but it is worth buying it... and the design is better than the ipods. do a google search http://www.google.com on ritmixes
