I found out how to make one playlist by transferring music to my My Computer\SanDisk Sansa Clip+\Media file and then adding them under "playlist". But I can't figure out how to make another playlist. Like I'd like to have a rock and a rap one..

here's how to create playlists from the songs that are already on your sansa clip. 1) plug in the clip, (2) go to my computer and open up the clip (3) go to the Music folder for your sansa (4) right click on a song you want in a playlist (5) select "add to playlist" from the drop down menu - this will create a .pla file entitled "new playlist" and it will have just that one song that you selected in it if you open it up and look (7) right click on the pla file and "rename" it anything you want (like "rock.pla") (8) move the playlist over to your playlist folder (9) then right click again on it and select properties , then "references" The references tab should show you a window with your selected song in there (10) leave this window open and go back to your Music Folder and right click on it and choose "explore" -then you can simply drag and drop as many songs as you want into your playlist. You can do this over and over again. Just make sure you keep renaming the pla files. Also, you can arrange your music and delete or add to it through the references window. Hope this helps.

this is really the only way I know how to do it. You can use WMP (I have V11) to sync playlists from your desktop but those are the actual songs from your hard drive's library. WMP saves playlists as a .wpl file and you cannot save it as a pla file. Sansa doesn't recognize the wpl file. But, it would be nice to be able to view the sansa song library on your computer and create a playlist there. Does anyone know how to do that?

I've been on countless forums for the last few days trying to find a simple and easy way to get a playlist onto my Sansa clip but haven't had any luck. Every answer that I've seen on this forum has been way too complicated and I'm surprised how easy it was to actually get a playlist onto my Clip with just a little bit of playing about.

Here's how I did it.

1) Plug in your Sansa Clip into a USB port.

2) Click on 'My Computer'

3) Click on 'SANSA CLIP' to open up all the files on the Clip.

4) Go to the 'Music' folder and open it.

5) Right click and create a new folder, name it whatever you like (Playlist 1/2/3 for instance)

6) (I use Itunes but I'm sure this would work with other media players) Just drag and drop a already made playlist from a media player into the folder you just made, wait for them to transfer and then unplug your device.

7) You will now find your playlist if go Music>Folders>'Your new playlist name'.

I'm not sure if I'm missing something here or not, because this seemed way to easy. Let me know if this helped anyone please!

I am a music producer and composer since back in the 70s. Let me tell you this:

1. There is no such thing as a free music production software, money will have to be paid. Don't download any software that claims it's free or else you will get your computer infected with a virus.

2. Anyone can make music these days, the technology allows you to make extraordinary music/beats with no skills at all

The best music production software price-features wise it's Dr Drum Beats Maker. Basically this program does what $1500 programs do but costs only $29. That's a steal. And I have to say it's the easiest program to learn. Check it out here: http://www.drdrumbeatsmaker.com
