Should I buy my girlfriend an MP3 player for Christmas?

It really depends. If they have a good deal of computerized music already, or a good deal of CDs that they're willing to put on to their computer, it can be a thoughtful gift. It becomes a little more questionable if they intend to go for a subscription based service (like Napster To Go, etc), as you would need to know which service they intended to use, and buy a compatible player. Still, it is a thoughtful gift--even if it may require a little research to pull off well.

Perfect gift and add a MP3 collection with all her fav numbers to it.. she'll love it and dont forget that important bunch of red roses and chocolates

i think you should if you really care about her and know she will like it. Dont waist to much money on a short term realtionship.
