I was just reading the questions people asked on Music/Music Players and all of them (mostly all) are all Ipod problems. Are they really that a hassel? I never had a problem with my Zune cept wireless syncing which is not the Zune fault.

Personally, I love Zune. Way user friendly. I mean after installing the software, it's way easy. It never froze on me, never had any problems what so ever.

The only thing I would love to see is more accessories! I go to Wal-Mart and all I see is iPod stuff. And with the new launch of the new line of Zunes, I saw a little increase of products. Well, Zunes are new and it'll be another few months till they come out with a few more.

What are some other peoples opinion on Zunes vs. iPods?

I got an iTouch because of the wifi and the fact that it looks so cool. I really love it, but I absolutely HATE iTunes. Its so annoying to use, I wish I could just drag and drop like my old creative mp3 player.

I never had problems with my iPod nano and I have had it for 4 1/2 months now and it still has no problems. I also got a $35 2 year extended warranty from Circuit City so that if anything goes wrong with my iPod, they will fix it at no extra charge. I won't need to buy another new mp3 player anytime soon because of that warranty I have for when something goes wrong.

BTW, I have nothing against the Zune either so don't call me a biased iPod fanboy. I think the Zunes are cool also but they don't have much accessories (like you said) and the Zune Marketplace needs to have movie and TV show downloads too (there is no reason why Microsoft can't do it. Microsoft makes Xbox 360's and Xbox Live store has movie and TV show downloads. Now they need to make those downloads available for the Zune Marketplace.). The reason why I got an iPod instead of a Zune is because there is pretty much no other store that allows you to download movies and TV shows LEGALLY but iTunes. And anything bought from iTunes only works on iPods so that's why I got one.

I hate ipods, I had one for about three months. IN that time I only got about one weeks worth of use out of it, as it had to be returned to apple thrice before I got frustrated and took it back.

It was terrible. It first would not sync with my apple because I had recently updated my operating system (along with iTunes) and the software on my APPLE ipod was incompatible with my APPLE computer. And since it would not sync, I could not update it, I had to send it in for this.

Fine, minor inconvenience, however after one week of getting it back home (and 6 weeks of waiting) It froze. Would not reset, would not connect would not do anything. So off it goes again, this time I am told that there was a problem with the software again.

So I get it back, this time after only two weeks much to my excitement.

About one day later, the screen went black. So I called apple, they said it may have been damaged in shipping, and to ship it back, so I did and I got it back, still broken.

At that point I took it back,

I have had a samsung YEPP ever since, it cost me half the price, has twice the memory and I love it, I have never had a single issue with it to date.

I have heard great things about creative labs and both the Zune and Zen. I was sworn by sound-blaster cards for years, so I would probably trust them. However at the time when I bought mine Zunes and Zens were hard to find.

Well, you see a lot more iPod problems here (or anywhere..) because they sell more than any other mp3 player on the market. I also love my Zune, but some people would rather stick to mainstream. I agree, there are not enough accessories out there, but the few accessories out there are all good. And if you shop on Amazon, or Buy.com, you can get great prices..(The AV kit sells for $20 on Buy.com, vs. $99 in stores)

Music is music.

I don't think it is a matter of HOW you listen to it, I just think its the fact that you can hear it that maters.

As for ipods, a LOT of people just don't know how to use them. The software is simple and it's just a matter of knowing what to do.

As for zunes, I've NO idea. NEver used one, never had one... So i can't really comment.

But the ipod problems.

I answered about 5...and they were all similar. ..and all the other people. answered wrong. Thats one problem..people don't know...and then you get complaints and what not.

I HATE iPod and iPod products! The are over priced and the one I had (nano 1st gen) froze all the time and out of the blue just stopped charging, soon it wouldn't sinc with my itunes library! They suck, suck, suck.

I have a ZenStone Plus by creative it was $50 for a 2g and it displays my songs and songs can be uploaded by drag and drop and make folders and it plays FM Radio and it has a loud speaker built into it so I don't always need to use earphones if I don't want to and I can use it as a harddrive (like a flashdrive) if I need to.

Well, it may seem that Ipod's have alot of problems. This is only because they are the most popular selling mp3 players. There are way more Ipod's in the music world than any other mp3 players. This means that you will see more problems. You really have to look at what per cent of the ipod's are having problems compared to other mp3's.

Yeah my original ipod nano got like five dents on the back of it WITH the case. It also froze on me and i only had it for like 3 months so i had to send it back and get a new one and then the new one got dented. Now, like 6 months later the buttons are insensitive and you have to press them about 15 times to get it to register. Its also starting to freeze... again.

Zunes hasnt come to the UK, but it looks and sounds cool so hope it does.

Plug your ipod decrease back in, and allow it to cost. After a pair of 0.5 hr take it out, if it nevertheless does not paintings carry down the midsection button & the play button. this might restart the ipod. If it nevertheless does not paintings you may ought to apply the fix button on your itunes account (in spite of the reality that this deletes your songs). ascertain you press the eject button on your itunes formerly you unplug the ipod, and wait till its finished disconnecting.

I've never had any problem with any iPod I've ever had. I used to have a 5th generation 30 GB video iPod and that was fine, now i have a iPod classic and it seems to be fine.
