How do I transfer from vinyl to CD with the least effort?

I have a large collection of vinyl LP's and 7"/12" singles, some of which I've found difficult to obtain on CD. Also I am not happy with the remastering of some of the new versions of albums I already have. I would like someone with good equipment and knowledge of the subject to transfer some of my favourite vinyl onto CD, preferably with the catalogue information so that it can be found in my iTunes library easily. Does anyone know of someone who will do this for me? I am in the UK.

There is this guy in the UK who will transfer your CD to vinyl and he has good equipment. He'll clean your records as part of the deal, and it all looks very reasonable.

It would be easier to do it yourself, its quite time consuming so it would cost a lot, probably around £1 per track - I did my own

Here is a nice phono to USB converter - connect the turntable to it and then connect it to your computer. Your audio recording software should recognize it as an input device.
