How come I cant synce videos onto my Itouch 2g?

when i converted a video from .avi to .mp4 i think.. using Leawo Free iPod conventer. When i drag the converted video to my itunes "Movies" and I went to my ipod and checked the video. I click sync. and it gives me these messages:

Attempting to copy to the disk "Ipod" failed. The device timed out.


The "Ipod" cannot be synced. The disk could not be read from or written to.

and i dont know what to do.
Please help.

heres a very handy technique that i use to videos to itunes.





get the video you want, then get this handy little piece of software known as prism video converter. i think you may be able to get it free from mininova.com. then convert it to mp4 with a screen a resolution of 640 x 480 pixels. then save it in a folder by itself. preferably call it "converted video" so you can find it better. then go to your itunes then go to file > add file to library then find the folder you created earlier and add it to itunes. if it still doesnt sync. then heres a technical solution.



right click on "my computer" icon on your desktop. go to manage. then go to services and applications. and select services. scrolll down the menu until you see "ipod service". right click on it and select stop. then after its stopped, right click and go to start. (this is where your resetting the basic interface for connectivity between your itunes and ipod). close of all this and close itunes. wait for at least 10-15 seconds. now disconnect your ipod without ejecting.(if you fail to eject at this stage in time then restart the process). now start itunes again. and wait for it fully load. now connect your ipod. and as soon as you do, the sync should start automatically and your problem should be fixed.

It's ur converter, the best way to get videos and pretty much anything is by jailbreaking, buuuut if u don't want that then get ur videos from limewire already converted and sync them or just get them from youtube (search youtube converter on google)
