All you need to do is close your background applications. Sometimes we forget how many are actually running since iPod/iPhone began multitasking applications.

Hit the home button twice in succession, this should pull the screen up to reveal the running apps.hold one of them down and they'll start to wiggle. Hit the x's and you'll be shutting those apps down. This isn't deleting them, just turning them off.

In caSe you don't know how to do what bob is suggesting, here's how. 1. Double press home button. 2. On the line of icons that come up on the bottom of the screen, press and hold any one of those icons until a red X appears in the top left corner. 3. Close all the running apps with the red x and touch the top of the screen.

You should now be able to run the app that you had the error message on.

iPods have very low ram. This means it can't run multiple apps at once. However the iPod keeps the last few apps used in a semi open state, which uses ram. This can mess uP ram intensive apps such as fotoslides. I'm sure you have plenty of memory but you have to close those background apps and free up ram
