IPod Touch 4Th Generation ios4 Not receiving push notifications?

i have the 4th gen ipod touch and i have a the required settings set in order for me to recive noyifications but i recive nothing no Facebook push notifications no e-mail notifications nothing I i thought it might be a faulty i pod at first so i exchanged it for anpother new one and again the same Now some time back i had the 2nd gen I pod touch and i received push notifications the instant a comment or message was sent to me on Facebook or via email can any body help me with this am i supposed to be receiving push notifications my guess is yes i ma due to the options given for notifications!!!! Please any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks Greg. AKA Eulogy

i think i MIGHT know what your problem is.. :)



Double-Check your settings! make sure all your 'Push-Notifications' are turned on.. if they are and it's still not working, take your ipod to the apple store! They know way more about their products than any of us do! they will help you straight away! but if you're not near an apple store, maybe check the apple website, google, etc..

not all helpful properties have compatibility with all gadgets. for occasion, multitasking, custom wallpaper, and Bluetooth keyboard help are obtainable in basic terms with iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, and the 0.33-technology iPod touch (32GB and 64GB fashions from late 2009).
