Well,

Today's my birthday and my grandparents got me and iPod Touch, a Samsung Impression, and a 75$ iTunes card..

This is my first iPod (I'm lame, I know) and I can't figure out how to get the songs off iTunes and onto the iPod.

First to reply & help get 10 points and a hug? :P

Make sure you register it with the iTunes store if you bought something with the gift card. Once you connect it to the computer, your iPod should appear on the side bar. It might start syncing automatically. If not, then at the bottom, press the "sync" button.

When you buy an iPod touch there is a connector in the package. From there get the connector and connect it to the computer. Click iTunes and your iPod touch should pop up on the side of iTunes. If you've already registered your iPod touch then good. If you haven't then follow the instructions and then go to the summary of your iPod touch. The summary is on the right below the "DEVICES" in the list. Then when you're in the summary of your iPod touch just go to the top where there are tabs and click "Music". From there you have to make sure "sync music" is checked and then it should sync into your iPod touch, by clicking sync on the bottom right. If you want applications in your iPod toucjthen do the same thing for the application tab in the summary of your iPod touch. If you can figure out where to sync then go to the top left "very top left" then click "FILE" and then a list should pop out. Click "sync iPod" which will be one of the options you can click in the list.

When i first got mine I had trouble too. So here is how you do it:

1. Go to the song you want (search for it in the box in the top right hand corner)

2. When you are at the song you want you'll have to buy it and there should be a box at the bottom that you click that has the price on it or says BUY on it.

3.Wait for the song to download ( you can do more than one at a time) this doesn't take long.

4.Plug in your iPod (if you didn't already) and register it (if you hadn't done so yet)

5. At the bottom of the screen (left or right-not sure) there is a word called sync. Click it and it should start downloading if you did it right.

If you have any problems, email me, my email should be open on my profile. Hope this works out for you! Hope you like your new iPod! :)

Lol no thanks for the hug but 10 points sounds pretty good. first of all follow directions and download itunes, and quicktime 7 or 8 (latest version) It should all be on your instructions booklet. After buying songs, drag then to your library or ipod if they dont automatically appear in your library. Also, it is much cheaper and easier to get music by downloading them from websites such as frostwire and limewire. Also, you need to connect your ipod to the pc to sync it. It shoudl be automatic

Make sure you have an ipod account and then when you use the USB cable connecting the ipod to the computer it should automatically pop up in your ipod account. Then there should be instructions on how to register it and finally sync it.

Your iPod should have instructed to you connect it to a computer running iTunes.

Assuming you have done that already, connect the iPod to the computer, select it in iTunes, change the sync settings to sync what you want on it.

It's easiest to create a new playlist in iTunes, add the music you want to it, and set the sync options to only sync that one playlist.

Plug your ipod back in, and permit it to cost. After a pair of 0.5 hr take it out, if it nevertheless does not artwork carry down the middle button & the play button. this would restart the ipod. If it nevertheless does not artwork you would be able to would desire to apply the restoration button on your itunes account (in spite of the shown fact that this deletes your songs). be sure you press the eject button on your itunes in the previous you unplug the ipod, and wait till its achieved disconnecting.

your i-pod probably comes like with a plug kind of thing

and you you plug that into the computer and into the i-pod.

on your desktop should appear your i-pod icon. when you go

to your i-tunes (after you buy your songs) your i-pod icon will be

there and you press sync. i'm sorry if i don't help but i think that's

what it is.
