I downloaded Soul Eater (anime episodes) and they're in mp4 format. They play perfectly fine on iTunes, but they won't sync onto my iPod nano 4th generation (the long ones with a big screen) because "the video format is not supported by the iPod xxxxx." What? I thought mp4s were all they supported. D:

Here's the info for the vids:

Type: MPEG-4 video file
Size: 130.6 MB
Bit Rate: 108 kbps
Profile: Low Complexity
Video Dimensions: 854x480
Total Bit Rate: 911 kbps.

Is it too big or something? Please help.

Hi,as i know iPod only accepts mp4 and H.264 video formats. So you should make sure your video is the iPod supported video format first. If not you should use iPod converter to handle a conversion. I share some useful converters I have been using. It it easy-to-use and powerful.

HI, mp4 is a media container which can be encoded with many different codecs, so iPod just supports some special mp4 videos. As I know, the best video format for iPod is mp4(avc/h.264 video encoder, aac audio encoder) videos, so you need to use a right software to convert your failed mp4 videos to the right iPod mp4 videos. I am using RZ Video Converter which can convert any videos or audios between different formats with good quality, such as convert your failed mp4 videos to the right iPod mp4 videos. etc, Then you can transfer the converted mp4 videos to itunes, and sync to iPod. Yahoo or google search and download RZ Video Converter. Hope it can help you.

Just Google search "Faa MP4 to iTunes - How to Import MP4 to iTunes for Playback or Transfer MP4 to iPhone, iPod, etc?", and you'll find out a ton of solutions.

The only problem the file is too large.

I don't think a video converter can fix up all things.
