What is better, a Zune or an IPod and why?

My mp3 player is breaking and Im getting a new one. Im stuck between getting a Zune or an Ipod. I wanna hear your opinions on you favorite product (:.

Zune hd hands down, if your a music lover you would not even consider ipods as your option.



Also Zune sound quality is much better than ipod touch, its a proven fact, no questions asked, all other brands like cowon, samsung, sony excel in sound quality.Ipods are dead last on sound.

Watching movies is such an awesome experience on Zune HD screen since its got an OLED display, which means Faster refresh rate and better contrast and greater brightness.

Unlike ipods LCD screen there is no ghosting or dark-spots on Zune HD screen. My brother used to have a huge problem watching movies because his Ipod touch would show heavy ghosting and dark spot while watching movies, now he just loves watching movies on his ZuneHD. 10 No 16GB model for the new third gen ipods, Apple saw competition from Microsoft too much to bare so they decided to axe the 16 gb model.



Cons for ipods

1. Crappy Battery Life

2. Itunes still syncs slow on PCs and crashes more often.

3. Duplicate Apps that's how Apps store reached the 74000 milestone, no needs 1000 fart apps



Ironically so Ipod Touch 3 Gen battery life decreased from last years model.You know whats funny ipod touch gen 3 are basically the same as gen2 no new hardware upgrade.



Ipods users are just blind followers they have no idea what else is available in the market.Ipod folks need to stop drinking Cool-Aid.

I believe an iPod is better because, one, their system for buying music (iTunes) has many more selections for media, and two, they last longer. Another thing, Zune is just now coming out with a highly advanced touch-screen mp3 player, while Apple has had one (now with thousands, possibly millions of apps available) for about 3 years now.

I own both, but I would have to say Ipod. Zune has too many software and compatibility issues and is more unreliable out of the two devices.
