What version of Itunes is compatible with an Ipod Classic 80 GB? I've synchronized my newly replaced one with an Itunes version 8.0 at my boarding house. But when I downloaded an Itunes 7.0 in my house, it says that Ipod must be used on an itunes 7.6 higher.

Another thing is, an Itunes 7.6 can't seem to work on my PC at home. But a 7.0 is working..

I need help.. My Ipod is like useless right now because I can't sync songs at home.

the curent version is 8.1 BUT its also QUICKTIME that needs to be installed install it direct from the internet onto the PC you want to use then it loads the orrect version for your operating system.

www.apple.com/itunes/download..

most problems is when people try ot save a file and use it on another PC with different windows version so download direct and make sure you inlcude the quicktime as well (option on the download)

well you need quicktime, which you can download at apple.com

and you're going to need itunes 8.0 or 8.1, which you can also download at apple.com

they're both free, so you don't have to worry about any costs.

8.0, or the 8.1
