Redsn0w gets stuck at "Uploading Ramdisk"?

Question

Hey guys,
Im trying to jailbreak my 3G (4.21) but every time I set it to DFU mode and redsn0w has just finished "Waiting for reboot" it loads between 1-5 bars and then just gets stuck.
Ive tried it several times but it just never gets past "uploading ramdisk"
Im running windows 7 64bit if that helps..
No matter how long I leave it it doesnt get past that.

What do I do?

Had the same problem had to use my older pc windows XP. did the job unlocked and faster then older OS had something to do with duo core processors were not helping..

Greenpoison is the excellent one ur asserting ur having issues ? What firmware is ur iPod on? in case you actual can no longer use greenpoison then i'd say use puppyra1n. you will would desire to pay like £10 as a one time charge yet after which you would be able to jailbreak any gadget and unfastened up any gadget that is project-free project-free to persist with steps. my firmware is 4,2,a million.

you have to run redsn0w as adminstrator and in xp mode. Have a look at these isntructions with a video:
