I got an IPOD NANO and an AUX cord a few weeks ago. Now i'm trying to play it through my Stereo Phillips FW 545C which has a headphone outlet and AUX-CDR plugs in the back with the red, white, yellow colors. I don't want to buy a dock stereo since my stereo still sounds good. I also need help cuz i bought one for my dad and sister. My sister has a sony boombox.
Can anyone also give me their e-mail for further assistance. Thank you!

I get this all the time from customers that "got it wet", from falling in the pool (or commode) to the guys power washing their bikes with the radio on and "something smokes". IF you are lucky, remove the battery cause it is now toast any way, If still kinda wet or damp (not water running down your arm and dripping off your elbow) Blot it in a paper towel, even use your hair dryer on it (on LOW heat) for a few mins. Get (borrow from a friend out of theirs) a batt. If it lights up, go get a new battery. If not, pitch it. Most all mini-electronics today is hermetically sealed ic's mounted on MPF coated circuit boards, so CONTRARY to popular belief, water (FRESH - not from a LA hurricane flood) Doesn't do much more damage except to short out the batteries. A little common sense can save the cordless phone hand set that went in the pool etc. I deal mostly in motorcycle sound equipment and most of what I see is moisture condensation corrosion and vibration damage. And I am able to repair most of it.

you have the incorrect cable. the aux cable 1 ends hooks into stereo and the other into the ipod
