Unfortunately, Apple does not currently allow that to happen (and I have a good idea why). But what you can do is make another account on your laptop so she can use it to sync her iPod using your computer (I have windows 7, but the basic instructions are the same. Go to "Control Panel" -> "User Accounts" -> "Manage another account" -> "Create a new account") and install iTunes on it and place her music on it. Good luck, hope this helps.

I had the same kind of issue with my sister before she moved out. I wanted to share some of the songs I had with her, but also my own. So we both managed our music manually (there's a little checkbox for it under the summary tab), and you can plug your iPod into any computer and get specific songs or videos off of any iTunes. (Keep in mind that you risk viruses if you don't know what's on the computer! :))

You could also make different playlists for the libraries, and sync by playlists, artists and/or genres. You go to the music tab, and select the "selected playlists, artists, and genres" button.

Hope this helped!

As i know you can utilize ipod tools to manage multiple ipod on the same computer but have separate playlist. It's also for ipod transferring, backup between ipod and any computer. You can have a look of below review site, hope it useful.

yeah just download her music make a playlist and put her songs in it and only sync that playlist to the ipod (sync manually it will have an option when you plug it in check the manual one and check selected playlist then check hers)

They specific can. in basic terms make a play record of what music you desire on yours and get your sister to make one among what SHE needs and purely sync your person play record on your iPod except you desire each and all of the music interior the library then in basic terms sync as popular. :)

You cant. But you can make different playlists say called "mom" then put all her music in there and just have it sync that.
