You can use a program called Sound Forge (or any other sound editors) and just import the WMA file then just click "Save as" in the "File" menu and where you type the name of the audio file, you'll have options to pick which file format, i.e. .MP3, .WAV, etc. You can search "Download.com" if you want to find a free sound editor software, just type "wma to mp3 converter" in the search box and look for a free software.

You should try ripping your CDs directly in MP3. Media Player does a decent job doing this. Go to Options -> Rip Music tab -> Format section and select MP3.
