Does my iPod video have a search function?

I have a 30GB Black iPod video that I bought a month ago. Then, few days ago, I saw pictures of the new iPod video showing search option. So, I updated my iPod firmware, but still, no search option. So is it only limited to new iPod Videos, or I just can't find it?

No, only new iPods have a software that support search option. New 5G iPods and iPod nanos have a new software that support search function. However that software wont work on the older models. Apple has launched new iPods on September 12th.

No Search option in any ipod.

I unquestionably have an iPod (30GB) too. to hit upon the "seek" function, circulate to the significant menu entitled "iPod". Then elect the "music" determination. From there, scroll each and each of how down and choose "seek". So, iPod>music>seek desire that helped! :]
