Where can I get a Bose Lifestyle 12 Series II 'audio input cable'?

Question

I somehow misplaced the 'audio input cable' and I'm in absolute misery at the moment as I'm not being able to play my system. No luck with eBay as I've checked multiple times and have found none available for purchase. Where do I find an audio input cable new or even used but in proper working order? Are there other Bose system's with audio input cables compatible with my system? Help desperately needed, I'll be really grateful if anyone can help me regarding this matter. Thanks in advance.

I heard that Bose really keeps their parts tightly kept... and will not sell parts to customers, but* - I did check online on the bose site - and seems like they actually do sell parts! Surprise!

When it comes to sound quality Benny is right. Sound is subjective and the systems are very similar anyway. I will say however that there are other factors involved. If your receiver is a good one then you may want the additional features it may have. HDMI upconverting or dual zone capability may be nice if it has them. The 6th speaker may be nice if the receiver has dts-es or better yet HD audio. If however you want a system that is very easy to use then the lifestyle 28 should fit the bill.
