Please please please please help me i have no idea what to do.

so yesterday i got a 32 gb 3rd generation ipod touch for my birthday. i synced it with my itunes library and everything was working fine. then, this morning, after i was using one particular app, i tried to open it again, and it opened momentarily, then automaticallly closed. then after school today i was using it and all the apps but that one were fine. then i went to downlaod more apps on my computer. I downloaded them and then i synced my ipod. now ALL of my apps except for the ones that came with the ipod (safari, mail, music) are automatically closing when i try to open them. This is getting extremely frustrating. I have tried shutting it down, deleting the app and then re-syncing it, i even went to help and found a link that told me to un-sync the apps in my itunes library, then sync my ipod , then re-synce the apps in my library and sync my ipod again. that worked for those people, but i did it twice and it stayed the same. Then i went into settings into reset, and erased all of the data on my ipod and then re-synced it with my itunes library but it STILL ISNT WORKING. please please please please help me.

Thank you so much.

If deleting the application or full reboot does not resolve the crashing issue, try performing a restore of your iPod touch. Connect it to your computer and, in iTunes, click the Restore button under the Summary tab. Please do remember that restoring the phone will erase contacts, calendars, photos and other data on the phone, but will restore automatically backed-up information including text messages, notes, call history, contact favorites, sound settings, widget settings, etc.

It will make any errors in the iPod touch get fixed and likely fix your issue too. If it doesn't, the only way left is to exchange it with another iPod touch at Apple store.

sounds like a cache error:-

reset the ipod

Treat your ipod as a computer TURN it OFF regularly rather than just sleep and as it restarts it will clear any built up cache and memory errors. these are 99% of the reason for problems. in the same way a PC benefits from a restart. this also clears errors from browsing web pages etc.

always turn it off (using power OFF slider) before loading a larger APP, then turn it on, load the app using the sync then turn it off then turn it on and it should work OK.

if that fails remove the app then reinstall it via itunes (after turning OFF inbetween) or final fix is to restore the ipod in itunes.

Just reset it by pressing and holding the power and home button until the screen goes blank ( about 10 seconds). Then wait a about a minute for it to reset and when it comes back on try to open the apps.

Hope it helps

ihave had that happen to my ipod i few times

just hold the top button and the home button for like 10 seconds

somthing should happen i think the little apple logo pops up in the middle

then release the top button hold the home button for a few more seconds

that will reset it it should be fine after that

if it happens again just take it to a apple store they are good with returns as long as its under warrenty and no water damage

The same thing used to happen to my 2nd gen 8g iPod touch. The only thing I had to do to fix the problem was to sign in to my account on itunes.com or create an account if you don't have one already, then sign in. Hope it works for you. If not, sorry I couldn't help.
