I have a drum set with the following:
a base tom
a floor tom
a mounted tom
a snare drum
hi hats
and a crash cymbal

what songs can i play with this set, cause most tabs i find have a bunch of extra cymbals that i don't have or like a second tom

p.s. im just starting and this is kind of my starter set
any music will be fine but im more into metal, hard rock, punk rock, (disturbed, a7x...)
also if there is any crucial basic thing i'm missing in my set please let me know

If you're into that music you don't really need a whole lot, you just need to compensate a little. You may just need a ride cymbal and you'll be ok. To play metal though you probably need a double bass pedal because that's what they always use.

Also, forget drum tabs, just listen to the song and figure it out yourself, you'll be able to learn the nuances of drum playing, how to make your own beats, and how to keep timing easier.

You can pretty much play a lot of songs, as long as you compensate for cymbals and toms and fill in those parts with something you have. It would also be helpful to practice songs with moderate bass drum speeds so that you can play it with one foot.

Try softer rock songs and even jazz to start off with.

agreed.... screw tabs, just learn songs by ear... back in the days when i didn't have my floor tom and all i had was a crash and a splash on my kit i learnt, Dead Memories - Slipknot, Bat Country - A7X and a whole bunch of other songs. i can't even read tab lolol

you should purchase double bass pedals that both strike one bass drum. One pedal will be to the left of the hihat and the different will be interior the conventional position. do a touch analyze and also you may discover one :)
